House in Norrbobyn, Bjuråker Hälsingland

Cabin | This is a modern house, finished to a very high standard in the picturesque little village of Norrbobyn

The house has a large veranda with panoramic views over South Dellen Lake and the surrounding mountains and is situated at the edge of the forest where you can pick berries and fungi and take beautiful walks. In front of the house you have fields where Cranes often visit. Ospreys can be seen over the lake and in the surrounding forest. If you you enjoy bird watching, this is an ideal place. You also have Moose and Deer in the forest.

The house is equipped for both hot, sunny days with an A/C unit and for cold, Swedish winters a wood burning stove to make sure a winter stay will be cosy. (wood is included)
The large, new kitchen is fully equipped with micro, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and there is a large dining area with stereo, ideal for entertaining with room for at least 8 people.
The washing machine and tumble dryer is in a separate laundry room.
The house has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6+1.
The main bedroom has a King size bed
The second bedroom has a double bed
The third bedroom has a bunk bed
There is an extra camp bed available
There is a separate living room with a large flat screen TV and DVD player. The wood burner is in this room and making it very cosy on chilly nights.
The modern bathroom is fully tiled with under floor heating and a large shower area.
The large veranda is perfect for entertaining and having enjoyable dinner parties or barbeques with family and friends. There are table and chairs for at least 12 people.Or why not just sit, relax and enjoy the magnificent views over South Dellen with the distant mountains in the back ground. On cooler evenings the veranda can be heated by infrared heaters.

The house is perfectly situated between the lakes of North and South Dellen with many lovely, sandy beaches ideal for swimming and just a short bike ride away. The house has 4 bikes for adults and 4 bikes for children
If you like fishing,the lakes are full of tasty fish, Perch, Pike and Trout. You also have several Put and take places around the area.

This is a heritage area with lots to do and see, the Halsingland old Farmhouses are now a world heritage Site and “Kristoffers” at Stenegard in Jarvso is a wonderful example just 45 min drive away. This farmhouse is an exceptional example of old style, rural Swedish art and design. There are many music festivals and folk music evenings during the summer and at “Dellenbaden” between the lakes, you can rent canoes, play mini-golf, eat a light meal or just have a coffee and ice cream, again with magnificent views. Nearby you can take a trip on the majestic 18 oar Church boats. Gliding across the lake, visiting tiny islands, like an old style Viking.
For bargain hunters there is “Bricka Loppis”, one of the largest in Halsingland.

A little further away you have the pretty, little town of Jarvso on the river Ljusnan, with its magnificent and imposing church, beautiful gardens and attractions at Stenegard. You can also visit Jarvzoo set in a wooded mountain side with all of Scandinavia’s wild animals, including Wolves, bears, moose, and Lynx. There is also a splendid mountains bike track.

In the opposite directions you have the attractive town of Hudiksvall on the beautiful coast where you can swim in the sea and visit old fishing villages and Nature reserves on The Hornslandet.
In the winter you have the family friendly Alpine skiing at Jarvso and Hassela both 45 minutes drive away. 8km from the house you have floodlit skiing tracks or you can start from the house and ski over the fields and onto the ice covered South Dellen. If you like skating you can go to Delsbo ice rink (skates of different sizes are available in the house) you can swim and take a sauna in Delsbo swimhall after all the activities and if you feel hungry there are plenty of eateries in Delsbo.
