Alfta camping, cabins and hostel

Camping | Here, you wake up to the sound of the River Voxnan rushing by just a few metres from the campsite pitches. Alfta town centre, with grocery stores, restaurants, and a bakery with a café, is within walking distance. The campsite is also close to swimming areas, fishing opportunities, and many local attractions.

Alfta beach and Camping is centrally located in beautiful natural surroundings by the River Voxnan. A lovely swimming area is situated just 50 metres from the campsite, and guests have access to excellent fishing waters, a playground, beach volleyball court, badminton, tennis, boules, and fitness trails.

The campsite offers 50 pitches, including 24 with electricity. There are also five camping cabins and hostel accommodation comprising nine rooms, including seven double rooms and two family rooms with four beds each. A service building provides access to a kitchen, showers, toilets, and facilities for emptying chemical toilets. Pets are welcome.

Toilets, showers, and an accessible toilet are available on site.

Adjacent to the campsite is Forsparken, a traditional open-air dance and event venue where various activities are arranged during the summer, including dog shows and sporting events.

The area is also home to Alfta Ice Arena, which is fully operational during the winter season and hosts activities during the summer as well. Every year on 21 August, the arena hosts the world's largest surströmming party, featuring dancing and entertainment.
